HUGE swing in Liverpool
Lib Dems nearly took a safe Labour seat on Liverpool City Council tonight with a HUGE swing.
Labour held on by just a handful of votes in the Warbreck ward byelection.

Lib Dem (Karen Afford) 874 46.2% up 31.4
Green 61 3.2% -4.7%
Con 48 2.4% -4.8%
Lib n/a -2.4%
Congratulations to our team there on a remarkable result - coming hot on the heels of our gain from Labour in a similarly safe ward in Manchester just weeks ago. And of course big thanks to 874 people in Liverpool who backed Karen and the Lib Dems.
