12 New Councils and more!

Thank you to everyone who went out and voted Liberal Democrat yesterday - or voted by post over the last couple of weeks.

In one of our best election results we gained control of 12 councils and made a net gain of over 400 council seats.

Here in the North West we made gains in councils like Lancaster, Liverpool and Stockport.

Thanks also to all our candidates and election agents and the huge team of volunteers underpinning their campaigns who enabled us to get these results.

Our regional election review day for Lib Dem party members will be in Stockport on May 20th.
