Our first Tea and Politics session was a great success. Held on Monday 04th November Julia Aglionby, Carlisle's LibDem Candidate, welcomed a full house to discuss improving investment in Jobs and Apprenticeship in Carlisle. A further four sessions are planned during the election campaign.

Tea & Politics with Julia Aglionby Carlisle Lib Dems (Julia Aglionby)

Julia is changing the way politics is happening in Carlisle through fostering conversation at her City Centre Campaign Hub rather than resorting to three-word soundbites. All are invited to join Julia for a series of Open Conversations: Tea and Politics. The future sessions which will all be held at 38 Lowther Street, Carlisle, from 1730-1900 are:

Tuesday 12th November: Improving Public Transport

Monday 18th November: Addressing the Mental Health Crisis

Tuesday 26th November: School Meals for All: Link between Well-being and Learning

Monday 2nd December: Climate Emergency and Flooding

The Liberal Democrats are committed to stopping Brexit damaging Carlisle's Economy, Environment and Communities. 40% of Carlisle voted to Remain in the EU and to date they have had no local voice. Now the LibDems have a candidate who lives in the constituency. Julia Aglionby's message is 'Let's Keep Carlisle Thriving for Our Kids' Future'.

All are welcome.
